- Opened with minutes from previous meeting
- Received letter in response to charter packet sent. Letter indictates the process is underway.
- Received letter from Kathy Young regarding the grant money. More information will be coming soon to confirm if we can keep the grant money.
- Question regarding the amount of meetings a trustee is allowed to miss and still keep his/her position.
- Depot has sold to private individual. Mike will be checking to see who purchased it to approach them regarding the ticket booth.
- Frank will contact Art Dolce regarding the Apple festival
- Betty Higgs purposed an idea to do a talk on the history of Forestville in an effort to bring awareness to the community, draw in interest and possible donations. This would be done in the late fall when Frank Schneider is available to speak.
- Membership cards designed by Mike Mierzwa were viewed and motion to approve them was made by George St. Clair, second by Kelly Pfleuger
- Application form designed by Sheridan Historical Society was considered to use for our own format. Mike Mierzwa will complete one for approval. Motioned by George St. Clair, second by Kelly Pfleuger.
- Historical Society will use the existing web site for Forestville to display the Society information. Web address is www.forestvilleny.com
- Founding members recognition board discussed. Members are to collect information from other organizations for ideas in how to display and how much to charge for various level/tiers.
- Seeking information regarding the Erie railroad tressels. Who has ownership of various parcels. A rock wanted to use for the bicentenial marker is on this tressel and we need to know who can give permission to take it.
